"Draw Less. Show More."
Ligia Brubaker

Ligia Morgan Brubaker was born in 1984 in Romania, Europe.

She studied visual arts under the renowned painter Avran Basu, and continued on becoming a licensed architect. Ligia travelled and worked in Europe, Africa and now, the US.

Over the years, Ligia had exhibited at prestigious art galleries in England, Spain, Romania, Serbia,
and multiple private residences of art patrons in England and the US.

Ligia shows a record of over 18 personal art exhibitions across the world,
10 group exhibitions, and sells her artworks online and via art galleries
in England and the US.

Ligia has been shortlisted and awarded thirteen times among the most promising
up and rising young artists in Europe and the US.

When it comes to watercolors, Ligia’s style is light and airy.
She works with brilliant, contrasting colors, inspired from North America’s southern skies, light and shadow.
Ligia’s unique way of telling a story – rather than reproducing an image like a photography –
makes her artworks stand apart.
