How do I place an order?
The process is simple and highly personalized. Contact Ligia via the contact page. Send a picture of your home / cabin / venue (or other) you want to have painted. You will receive a payment link to make a 50% deposit when booking your artwork, and the difference will be due upon delivery. Options like framing, shipping, gift wrapping will be addressed before getting a final quote.
What type of watercolor artwork can be ordered?
Ligia specializes in architectural watercolors, portraiture and hunting scenes.
Do you have a customer referral program?
Yes. When you refer Ligia's services to your friends and upon receiving an order based on your referral, you receive a number of 50 high-quality professionally printed postcards, containing the artwork we produced for you. All production and shipping costs are covered as a thank you for the referral.
What is the Return and Refund Policy?
All commissioned watercolors are custom made, so returns are not accepted. However, producing a bespoke artwork is a process that involves close collaboration between the art patron and the artist, so there will be an ongoing dialogue throughout the entire process, and you will be provided with regular updates on the status of your work.
What is the Turanround Time?
The turnaround time depends on the final choices in size, framing, delivery and shipping method. The most basic bespoke watercolor is delivered within 2 weeks, but there might be availability for overnight rush orders, depending on the season. Feel free to inquire about rush orders.
What is the Basic Price?
Ligia's bespoke watercolors start at $450+tax and shipping (8.5x11 less framing margins; shipping and tax not included. Delivered with a matt. Frame options available per request.).
What is the Final Product?
Regardless the size chosen or framing preferences, the final product delivered at your address is an exhibition grade, hand-painted watercolor. Your watercolor is not computer generated based on the picture you provide, but an actual hand drawing. No AI is involved in the process. Your artwork is not a print or a fine print, but a genuine, handmade and hand colored watercolor, which is why it will be delivered wrapped in foil / moisture proof paper, to prevent against exposure to moisture during the shipping process. (Direct contact with water will make the water-soluble colors leak.)
